Massachusetts continues to show that we are the national eHealth industry leader, which was further supported with the recent release of the 2014 Healthcare Informatics 100, a ranking of the country’s top healthcare IT vendor companies.
MeHI is partnering with the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC) to support and oversee implementation of some projects within the Community Hospital Acceleration, Revitalization and Transformation (CHART) Investment Program. MeHI will focus on those projects that include support for the enhancement of health information technology, including electronic health record (EHR) adoption and increasing connections between providers through the Massachusetts Health Information Highway (Mass HIway).
We are excited to announce that the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) has extended the Regional Extension Center (REC) program for Massachusetts. The Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI) serves as the state’s only REC and will be able to continue to assist providers across the Commonwealth with electronic health record (EHR) implementations and Meaningful Use.
