About the Event

Digital Health is often treated as an industry in itself, or a market driver. This often confuses the problem with the solution. Digital Health is an enabling and often disruptive set of tools, but it is not the driver of change. Care transformation is happening all around. It is realigning incentives toward efficiency and performance, enabling consumerism and driving care access – these are the market drivers. Quality and efficiency improvement, patient engagement and the ability to deal with increasingly complex systems almost always require information, connectivity, automation, analysis and other information-related capabilities. For these reasons – digital technologies are often the answer to many of the needs across healthcare today. Come for an open discussion regarding the promise of an information-enabled healthcare system, the current challenges and the right role for Digital Health technologies; and the important role that Boston Scientific is playing.
