Workforce Training Program Grant for MA LTPAC and Home Health Care Industries

The Massachusetts eHealth Institute (“MeHI”), a non-divisible component of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative (“Mass Tech Collaborative”), is offering a grant to a fund project to develop and implement a health IT workforce training program aimed at the Long-Term and Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) and home health care industries in Massachusetts. The funds are available through the Health Care Workforce Transformation Fund which is administered by the Secretary of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The maximum grant award is $200,000, but preference will be given to those proposals that can complete the objectives of this grant program for less than the maximum award amount.

MeHI is issuing this Solicitation to partner with a community college to respond to these identified needs by developing and implementing a health IT workforce training program aimed at the LTPAC and home health care industries in Massachusetts. The selected respondent may partner with a vocational technical school or other organization to deliver the training.
