eQuality Incentive Program (eQIP)-LTPAC-Closed

The eQIP program is designed to support eligible Long-Term and Post-Acute Care (LTPAC) organizations in the adoption and effective use of interoperable EHRs. The program awards grants to assist providers through an eHealth maturity cycle. By participating in this program, LTPAC organizations can advance their use of Health IT and connect to the statewide Health Information Exchange (HIE), the Mass HIway. This will position and prepare eQIP participants for inclusion in larger state-wide eHealth community efforts.

The eQIP Grants Solicitation for LTPAC was issued in early 2015 and MeHI awarded 14 post-acute care organizations, representing 32 Massachusetts facilities and 4,446 beds. The awardees will collectively receive nearly $1 million provided they achieve each of the program milestones. A press release announcement was published in Oct, 2015.
