Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002 (FISMA)
United States federal law enacted in 2002 as Title III of the E-Government Act of 2002. The act requires each federal agency to develop, document, and implement and agency-wide program to provide information security for the information and information systems that support the operations and assets of the agency, including those provide for or managed by another agency, contractor, or other source.
Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
Safety-net providers such as community health centers, public housing centers, outpatient health programs funded by the Indian Health Service, and programs serving migrants and the homeless. FQHCs provide their services to all people regardless of ability to pay, and charge for services on a community board approved sliding-fee scale that is based on patients' family income and size. FQHCs are funded by the federal government under Section 330 of the Public Health Service Act.
