From Health Care to Whole Person Care: 17th Annual Health Care Conference at Harvard Business School

17th Annual Health Care Conference at Harvard Business School

Traditional health care is rooted in the medical system and the care provided within the four walls of the clinic. As outcomes lag behind and costs explode, a comprehensive approach that views a person’s health holistically – addressing the socioeconomic, environmental, and behavioral factors in addition to physical health and wellbeing – is needed. This year’s conference seeks to understand how we shift from “patient” to “person,” with the ultimate goals of improving health outcomes, lowering costs and bringing the whole person to the center of the healthcare system.

Keynote speakers include Javier Rodriguez, CEO of DaVita and Vivian Lee, President of Health Platforms at Verily Life Sciences

Other confirmed speakers include:

Geoff Price, Co-Founder and CEO of Oak Street Health
Neil Wagle, Chief Medical Officer of Devoted Health
Susan Diamond, President of Home Solutions at Humana
Linda M. Greub, General Partner at Avestria Ventures
Travis Laid, Chief Operating Officer of Cleveland Clinic
David Mishkin, Co-Founder and Director of Town Hall Ventures
Jacob Maxwell Anderson, Co-Founder of FertilityIQ

There will be a discussion on a broader set of topics this year, including women’s health, mental health, and the importance of nutrition in overall wellness. The conference will feature moderated keynote talks, panel discussions, lunch and learns, fitness classes, roundtables and an innovation showcase. There will also be significant networking time during roundtable breakfasts & lunches, coffee chats, and the closing reception.

We hope you see you there!
