Point32Health is a leading health and wellbeing organization, delivering an even-better health care experience to everyone in our communities. Building on the quality, nonprofit heritage of our founding organizations, Tufts Health Plan and Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, we leverage our experience to help people find their version of healthier living through a broad range of health plans and tools that make navigating health and wellbeing easier.
Our programs take a 360-degree view of health for our members – no matter their age, health, race, identity or income. Our Institute works to improve population health – and our Foundation works with communities to support, advocate and advance healthier lives for everyone. We use empathy to understand what's important to those we serve, always making their priorities our own. And we work to guide and empower people by bringing together wide-ranging partners and perspectives to create new approaches that make a real difference for our community, our industry, and our 2.2 million members across New England.
Clinical Innovation Department
The Clinical Innovation team at Point32Health is charged with delivering pace-setting innovation that advances health care beyond the expected by creating new ideas that improve health outcomes, increase affordability, and help more people. Through significant investments in clinical innovation, the Clinical Innovation team actively seeks collaboration opportunities to gather real-world evidence, build partnerships within the innovation community, conduct research, and promote innovation acceleration.
With strong program management, analytical and clinical expertise, the diversity in professional backgrounds within the team creates a perfect formula for evaluating equitable and impactful health solutions. Beyond the depth and breadth of the team's payer and clinical/industry experience, we have access to and collaborate with the subject matter experts in the health insurance industry. Lastly, we have an extensive relationship with the Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute (HPHCI). The Institute's Department of Population Medicine was founded in 1992 as a research and teaching partnership between Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Harvard Medical School.
Sandbox Collaboration Options:
Data Consultation, Analysis, and Collaboration
- Using de-identified claims data per applicable laws (e.g., HIPAA), we can inform perspectives regarding disease prevalence, cost of care, or other defined needs.
- This will allow entities to gauge market size, inform reimbursement models, and develop an ROI methodology for their innovation.
Advisory Services
- The Clinical Innovation team, in concert with pertinent organizational experts, can provide consultation, feedback, and recommendations regarding your innovation.
- We can provide direct access to subject matter experts in the health insurance industry that can assist in understanding reimbursement, contracting, insurance products, privacy/security needs, and many others.
Pilot Opportunities
- For innovations that align with our organizational vision and priorities, we will work with you to design a pilot that provides the opportunities to gather real-world evidence, perform research, and inform future collaboration.
